Hopefully I can make this a tradition every Friday. Today’s find is The I Hate to Cook Book by Peg Bracken, first published in 1960. I can definitely relate to this one. Here’s a little history and a newish, 50 year-anniversary edition.

    When I was very young, Peg Bracken published a book called I Hate to Cook for Kids. Though, as an adult I don’t hate to cook as much as Bracken, I still love her books.

      I’ll check that out, Jude, thanks! Sounds like fun. I wonder why kids need a “I Hate to Cook” book, though, unless it involves making easy treats with parent supervision.
